Our History

I’ve been building interior and exterior designs since 2018 after apprenticing with a furniture maker in East Nashville and working with a local home improvement company. I really enjoy exterior builds like the garden beds because working outside has always been a passion of mine. High school and college never offered any woodshop classes, so most of my younger years were circled around building retaining walls, docks, and picnic tables on our farm in Missouri with my father.

While working a full-time job, I grew anxious working a desk job and looked for a side-job so I would have the ability to use my hands and creativity more. This led to me looking for local carpenters in the area where I was given my first chance to build a few things like dinner tables, porch swings, and cabinets.  I instantly fell in love with smell of stain and cedar, along with the sound of power tools buzzing.  Eventually, I got my hands dirty with wood-working jobs for my parents and friends which led to my own designs for all kinds of projects.  I posted them on the East Nashville page one day and it blew up with requests for my garden beds which I think was a result of the pandemic allowing people more time to garden and be at home so they wanted a fun, rustic space with my designs.

After a wonderful 10 years in Nashville, in July of 2022, we relocated to Johns Island, SC, where I work out of my 625 sq ft garage. Occasionally, I drag my wife or two Frenchies out to help with some large builds, but you may see them more during deliveries.
